      Hi Cherie,

Thank you so much! Here is the link to Bonnie’s petfinder listing: http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/22835450?rvp=1. It should have all the info you need. I will be adding some info I got this afternoon that I think you should know about. Per the officer at the shelter where she is at, she has, along with Clyde, had some aggressive encounters with other dogs. Not all that she meets, just some, and he was not sure what the triggers are except to say it happened when both dogs were together. The officer knows the owner and has been involved with the ongoing issues with the dogs escaping and killing cats. It’s obvious that they (Bonnie and Clyde) need to be adopted separately. I’m going to suggest, per Pamela Jo, that she be adopted by an experienced owner with no cats or other small animals. If they do have another large dog, proper introductions are important. It’s possible she would be ok without Clyde around. Her owner thinks that, on her own. she would not try to escape the yard, but only follows Clyde when he gets out. Bonnie is at the Grass Valley City Shelter, 530-477-4630. They are located at 556B Freeman Lane in Grass Valley. If we could use email going forward that would be great, ajack50@sbcglobal.net, as I do not usually use this forum for communication. Thanks again!! Lori

Hi, we are interested in your dog Guinness. We noticed that his age was written as “young”, but do you maybe know is age in years/months? We want to know more about his history and where he is living now, weather it be foster or at the shelter. We are just trying to get a sense of his prior owners/environment and life.

We wanted to make sure you sent norcalrescuepups@yahoo.com a short bio about you and your family? That’s the best way to get the process started since different groups use this Petfinder account and different people are responsible for the adoption of different dogs. If you have already done that someone will be contacting you.

      Thank you,
      Lori Perry

    HI Lori,
I applied for the puppies from citrus heights. I sent an email to norcalrescuepups@yahoo.com with all the details required. i also applied through the petfinder account. I understand that you are busy but would you have an idea as to how long it takes to know if we were selected or not to adopt these adorable dogs.
    Thanks,
    Neha

      Hello Neha,

Different rescue groups use my Petfinder account so different groups/people are responsible for the adoption of different dogs. I do not know NorCal Rescue’s complete process. I do know that the puppies are receiving numerous applications and there is only one person screening applicants right now so it might be a while before they get back to you. I hope this info helps. Good luck. Lori, Nevada County PAWS

        Hi Lori,
Based on Neha’s description, I too have been in contact with NorCal Rescue regarding these same pups in Citrus Heights.
My only question/concern is: Is it normal to pay for the adoption of a pup through Zelle or Paypal? That is what I was instructed to do by tomorrow at noon and I supposedly have a 11am appt. Friday to meet & pick up our pup. However, we STILL cannot get an answer regarding an address to pick up our pup.
I just found it odd that they are asking for payment before ever meeting the dog to make sure they’re what we want and that we have no idea where we are going. My family has always met the pet before payment and then paid cash right then and there, never before.
Any information regarding this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

Kayla, DO NOT pay anything until you know for sure you want to adopt this dog. I am so sorry you were asked to do this. I would never approve of a process like this. I will contact NorCal Rescue right now.

Kayla, Did NorCal Rescue do a home visit with you? I’m trying to figure out if this rescue is legit. Thank you for any information you can share with me.
